The Book of Jonah
Our current sermon series is on the book of Jonah. Although the book of Jonah is an historical narrative, unlike the other Old Testament prophetic books which were discourses spoken to the people, it has the same function that the other prophetic books have as it, too, is an indictment and a call to repentance for a wayward people that need to be re-oriented by the compassion of God.
